On March 18, Prevent Child Abuse Arizona welcomed several hundred supporters and dignitaries at the Grand Opening Celebration for its new statewide headquarters in Prescott Valley. Town of Prescott Valley Mayor Harvey Skoog and Yavapai County Attorney Sheila Polk performed the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

“With the grand opening of Prevent Child Abuse Arizona’s statewide headquarters this spring, we are renewing our commitment to children all across Arizona,” said Rebecca Ruffner, Executive Director of Prevent Child Abuse Arizona. “Our pinwheel garden symbolizes hope for the future, that all children can grow up happy and loved.”

The brand-new, 5,100 square-foot building will house PCA Arizona staff, and is decorated with photos from the agency’s recent “Cutest Baby Picture” contest. It also features a community room available for local agencies’ meetings and trainings.

PCA Arizona would like to send out a big thank you to PCA Arizona staff and to Prescott Area Young Professionals volunteers who came together to make the Grand Opening Celebration fun, festive, and informative.
