2022 Statewide Child Abuse Prevention Conference

The 28th Arizona Child Abuse Prevention Conference will be held in person at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Phoenix. The conference will feature four outstanding keynote speakers, more than 50 illuminating workshops, and networking opportunities with hundreds of professionals from a variety of sectors, including family/human service, government, nonprofits, law enforcement, healthcare, and education.

The theme this year is Reimagination. The past two years have brought to light gaps in how our systems support children, families, and the professionals that serve them. To do better, we must be able to reimagine how we approach, organize, and conduct our work.

Use the Chase Garage which is north of the hotel. It’s located between 1st Street and 2nd Street (running north/south) and between East Van Buren Street and Monroe Street (running east/west). No oversized parking is available in the garage. Click here for a map showing the location of the parking garage and its proximity to the Hyatt Regency Phoenix.

Attendees will receive a $15 discount for parking each day that they attend the conference. This covers the $15 self-parking day rate, and reduces the overnight self-parking rate (regularly $29) for hotel guests to $14. Please note that valet parking is more expensive than the self-parking option.

Instructions to utilize your discount are different for overnight guests and day guests:

Self-Parking for Hotel Guests: If you choose to self-park, you can get a parking pass from the hotel valet or the front desk at any time during your stay, as long as you have it before leaving the garage. This pass will allow in/out privileges at the discounted rate of $14 per day. No validation sticker is needed for overnight hotel guests, and the discounted fee will be included in your hotel bill.

Self-Parking for Day Guests: When you arrive at the Chase Garage, please pull a ticket upon entering the garage. Bring the ticket to the Child Abuse Prevention Conference registration desk located in the Regency Ballroom Foyer on the first floor. You will receive a validation sticker to place on the back of your ticket. Upon exiting the garage, you will scan the code on the front of your parking ticket first, and then scan the validation sticker on the back, at which point you will be able to exit without charge. Click here for an illustration (below the map). If you are attending the conference for multiple days, you’ll need to repeat the same procedure each day. There are no in/out privileges for day passes.
