This year, we are able to offer parking free of charge to Child Abuse Prevention Conference registrants! The gates will be open from 6 am to 6 pm in order to expedite entering and exiting.

(Guests staying overnight will be able to use their rooms keys to get in and out after 6 pm if needed. )

Parking can be accessed either east of the hotel entrance or off Maryland Avenue (near 95th Avenue).

Valet parking is available for $26 per day.

The Renaissance Phoenix Glendale’s parking garage costs $10 per day for non-hotel-guests and does not include in-and-out privileges. (Overnight parking for non-hotel-guests is $20 per night.)

Parking in the garage is free for hotel guests and includes in-and-out privileges. **NOTE: Keep your room key handy as it's used to enter and exit. If you are checking out Wednesday, keep one room key so you can exit and not be charged for the extra day.

Valet parking is available for $26 per day.

The Call for Workshops is now closed. 

Conference registration includes access to all workshop blocks, keynote addresses, and breakfast and lunch on both days.

Breakfast and lunch will be served both days. You will be given an option during registration to indicate any dietary restrictions.

If you choose a vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten-free option, there will be a slip of paper in the back of your name badge holder indicating your selection(s). When seated in the ballroom, place the paper in front of you so servers will know your preference. PLEASE KEEP THE PAPER TO USE AT THE NEXT MEAL.

Accommodations cannot be made for those who did not indicate a dietary restriction.

Due to the size of the event and the logistics of serving 1,000 attendees, the hotel catering staff cannot accommodate special requests other than those listed above. Please bring your own food if you have more specialized requirements.

If you do not, please email capconf@pcaaz.org.  PLEASE NOTE: Pending payment registrations will be billed at the regular rate of $350. There is a $50 earlybird discount if payment is received by April 30, 2026. Registrations are not finalized until payment is received. If payment is not received within 30 days of the invoice date, registrations may be subject to cancelation.

After you enter the first registrant, you can click "Save Registrant," and you'll see the option to add another registrant. It is recommended you register no more than 10 people at a time to ensure the system is able to process the registrations. If, when registering, you do not have the workshop selections on hand for each attendee, they can be added or changed subsequently by emailing capconf@pcaaz.org. When you've added everyone, you can select "Go to billing page." This means you only have to enter billing info once.

You can download the 2026 CAP Reg Form Tool for Agencies as an optional tool to collect individuals' workshop selections. Have staffers complete the forms and return them to the person in your agency who is coordinating and entering the registrations.

Your workshop selections appear in your registration confirmation email, and will be printed on your name badge. 

Cancelations received in writing by July 10, 2026, will be accepted and fees refunded less a 25% administration fee. Substitutions/transfers will be accepted through 5 pm July 10, 2026, at no charge. No cancelations or substitutions will be accepted after 5 pm July 10, 2026. No refunds will be issued for non-attendance at the conference. Email capconf@pcaaz.org with questions.

Scholarship applications closed on April 24, 2026. The Prevent Child Abuse Arizona scholarship committee will select and notify scholarship recipients by May 4, 2026.

Prevent Child Abuse Arizona is offering a limited number of scholarships that entitle the recipient to a discounted conference registration rate of $30. Please only apply if you would be unable to attend the conference without a scholarship.*

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the DCS Office of Prevention, hotel rooms may be included if the applicant lives more than 50 miles from the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale.

The scholarship application will be open from April 13-24, 2026. The Prevent Child Abuse Arizona scholarship committee will select and notify scholarship recipients by May 4.

* Please do not register for the conference if you are applying for a scholarship, as we will consider your need for a scholarship void. Also please note there is a 25% administrative fee ($75) for registration cancelations.

PLEASE NOTE if you are a DCS employee: The Department of Child Safety sends a set number of staff members to the conference each year and determines who will attend by consulting DCS regional leadership. Please do not apply for a scholarship; instead, let your supervisor know if you are interested in attending the conference so you can be considered in DCS's in-house selection process.

Prevent Child Abuse Arizona strives to foster accessible spaces during the Child Abuse Convention Conference.

The registration form includes a space to indicate if you require an accommodation or assistance, such as audio-visual aids, sighted guides or mobility assistance.

The Child Abuse Prevention Conference does not offer CEU credits, but we do provide a certificate of attendance stating the number of training hours (10), as well as a detailed program. Individuals can use this information to submit directly to their licensing agencies for possible credit.

To obtain your Certificate of Attendance, complete the surveys at the end of each day (links will be sent to you). We will email COAs to survey respondents after the conference. 

Bring notepads, pens, business cards, phone charger, reusable water bottle, snacks, mints, light cardigan and/or fan, and your imagination!
