Mesa AZ-Rebecca Ruffner, Executive Director of Prevent Child Abuse Arizona, takes the podium at the 19th Statewide Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Conference on Friday, January 18th at the Mesa Centennial Center. Ruffner coordinates the annual two-day CAP event, the largest of its kind in Arizona.  The conference teaches best practices and promotes networking statewide among policymakers, advocates, and the many entities and individual providers who work to prevent abuse and neglect of Arizona’s children.  Prevent Child Abuse Arizona is headquartered in Prescott; for more information on its programs, call 928-445-5038.
