Pinwheels for Prevention
PCA Arizona is an active participant in Prevent Child Abuse America’s Pinwheels for Prevention campaign to introduce the pinwheel as the national symbol for child abuse and neglect prevention. The pinwheel is our primary vehicle for conveying that prevention works.
Every April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month, PCA Arizona and many of our partner organizations around the nation plant pinwheel gardens in honor of children in their communities.
By displaying pinwheels or wearing pinwheel jewelry any time of the year, you are making a statement that all children deserve to be raised in caring communities, free from abuse and neglect.
The pinwheels are 12" in height, made from plastic and Mylar and are 100% recyclable. To display a pinwheel is a demonstration of your commitment to healthy child development and child abuse prevention in your community.
