This conference is the vision of the Community Development Initiative Steering Team, a statewide group of parent leaders and representatives from eight of Arizona’ child-serving agencies. This project is parent-drive, multi-disciplinary and multi-agency. Topics include: principles and benefits of asset-based community development, building and sustaining strong partnerships, engaging and empower families to be leaders and focusing on assets and skills, rather than deficits or needs.

CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION CONFERENCE

This annual conference attracts almost 1000 prevention advocates from all parts of the state, features national experts, over 40 workshops, and equips attendees with new strategies, collaboration opportunities, and a renewed commitment to prevention. Funded by the Arizona Department of Economic Security.
